Alongside wine, I have cultivated a personal interest in technology for many years. Hardware, operating systems, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and web development are fields of study, method and experimentation for me.
These worlds may seem far removed from wine, yet they share one principle: understanding what lies behind things. A great wine, like a complex system, requires attention, memory, curiosity and the ability to read the details.
Artificial intelligence does not replace human thought.It expands it, accelerates it and elevates it when guided by method, experience and vision.
Technology as a form of attention
For more than thirty years I have privately cultivated a passion for hardware. I select components, build and configure my computers, and test solutions to better understand how systems work and perform.
Over time I have explored Windows, Linux and Kali Linux as environments for personal study and experimentation. Different systems, each with its own logic and its own way of interpreting technology.
I study cybersecurity principles through controlled laboratories and simulations, always in authorised environments. My goal is to understand vulnerabilities and learn how to protect systems more effectively, with a responsible, prevention-led approach.
This is the field I study most intensively. I compare and test different AI models, assistants and agents, including ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, DeepSeek, Grok, Microsoft Copilot, Meta AI, Mistral, Qwen, Kimi and Manus. It is a constantly evolving landscape that I follow to understand its capabilities, limits, differences and practical uses.
I study and experiment with web development through personal projects, exploring structure, interface design, usability and how pages adapt to smartphones, tablets, computers, monitors and large screens.
